Packing & Unpacking in Buffalo
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Pack the whole house or just the breakables, with materials tough enough for a winter haul. Every box gets its room written on it, and we can unpack you at the new place as well.
Packing & Unpacking in Buffalo
Out of time, or dreading the glassware and the good dishes? We handle the packing for homes all over Western New York with proper materials and a steady hand. Give us the whole place, or just the kitchen, the paintings, and the electronics while you keep the rest.
What sets it apart
Good packing is what gets things there in one piece, and it counts double over a long, cold drive. We pack with double-wall boxes, honest paper and bubble, and purpose-made dish and mirror cartons, marking each by room so nothing gets misplaced.

- Books, closets, and wardrobe boxes
- Whole-home or partial, your pick
What we bring

Three Steps to Moving Day
From the first phone call to the last box set down where you want it.
Tell Us the Details
Give us the shape of your move by phone, over a quick video walk-through, or on the form. Back comes a flat, written price, not a vague range that creeps upward on the day.
Grab Your Date
Pick your day and we set the right crew and truck, then sort out any street-parking permit, walk-up stairs, or building rules so the morning runs smooth.
We Do the Lifting
A single lead runs the job, wrap, load, drive, and set down, with our own Buffalo crew, snow or shine, so you are never handed off to a stranger midway.

Every packing & unpacking job with Good and Fair Moving comes with the essentials done properly, no upsells and no fine print:

Your Move, Fully Covered
Taken care of from the first pad we lay down to the last signature on the walk-through.
Fully Insured
Every job carries cargo and liability coverage, and we talk through your valuation choices with you before a single form is signed.
Winter-Ready
Snow does not cancel a move around here. We salt the walk, lay runners over wet floors, and shrink-wrap against the slush so a January move stays clean.
Padded & Wrapped
Each piece gets moving blankets, shrink-wrap, and a tight strap-down. If something takes a knock, we call it out on the spot and set it right.
Done Right
A fair price, a crew that gives a damn, and nobody leaves until every last item sits exactly where you want it.

Questions We Hear a Lot
What materials do you pack with?
Sturdy double-wall cartons, clean newsprint and bubble, special boxes for dishes and mirrors, and wardrobe boxes that keep clothes hanging. Every carton gets a room written on it, so the unload is fast and nothing wanders off.
How much is this going to cost?
Two things drive it: the amount you are moving and how easy the in and out is. A two-mover crew with a truck starts at $115/hr, and you see an itemized written estimate before we carry a single box. Want a hard ceiling? Ask for a flat cap and the signed figure is all you can be charged. Out-of-state runs are quoted on weight and mileage.
Is there anything you will not move?
A few things, mostly by law and for safety: propane, gasoline, paint, and other flammables, plus ammunition, house plants, food that spoils, and pets. If something is extra large, heavy, or valuable, flag it when you book so we bring the right people and gear.
What if something gets damaged?
Solid padding keeps it uncommon, but if a piece does take damage we document it on the spot and file the claim the same day. Before we start, we walk you through basic versus full-value protection, so you know precisely how a claim would go.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Absolutely. Move your date or cancel with at least a couple of days’ notice and the deposit comes back in full. Every term sits in your booking in plain language, so there is nothing to guess at later.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Good and Fair Moving holds New York household-goods authority and carries full insurance, and every job runs with our own crew from start to finish, no broker skimming the middle. If you want to see the authority numbers and coverage details, just say so, and we will walk you through your valuation choices before anything is signed.
